Capital against the asset
Long-term capital raised against their assets, while they keep the assets and run the business.
Corporate finance and debt capital markets
Exchange Trust helps asset owners raise long-term capital against valuable but hard-to-finance assets. The Borrower keeps the asset and full control of its business. The notes are issued under the eDCMP™, our debt capital markets programme, from a securitisation fund in Luxembourg.
01 At a glance
Exchange Trust grew out of more than a decade of trade and project finance work in Africa. In 2026 it added a Fund Manager and a securitisation fund in Luxembourg. The figures below are design ranges and planning durations, confirmed for each Transaction.
02 The gap we close
Bond markets offer the cheapest long-term money, but mostly to the largest borrowers. A public issue through a large investment bank usually starts at about USD 200m and assumes a balance sheet of about USD 500m. The eDCMP brings the same investors, rating agencies, listing venues and insurance markets to raises from about USD 10m per Series.
The eDCMP manufactures the credit story rather than requiring the client to have it. Exchange Trust
03 Who the programme serves
Each Transaction joins a Borrower that needs long-term capital with qualified investors, reached only through authorised intermediaries. Sponsors use the programme to fund a pipeline. Creditors use it to exit a restructuring at a price they accept.
Long-term capital raised against their assets, while they keep the assets and run the business.
One programme agreement that funds a series of Transactions, instead of raising each one separately.
A tradable exit through the junior classes of a listed note, at a price they accept.
Asset-backed notes from Borrowers they could not otherwise reach, through the authorised intermediary appointed to each Transaction.
04 What we do
One team holds the client relationship for the whole Term. The Transaction Arranger, authorised intermediaries and appointed Service Providers fill the specialist roles, such as pricing, placement and trusteeship. Exchange Trust coordinates them.
Asset, jurisdiction, business and management
Compartments, collateral and reserves, then the Instrument terms
Cover from a rated insurer, where wrapped
Listed notes, placed by authorised co-arrangers
Payments, reserves and reporting for the Term
05 How we work
Complex Instruments call for plain conduct. Three principles govern how Exchange Trust presents itself, runs a Transaction and states a fact. A client can hold us to each of them.
We present the firm and the meeting, never an Instrument. Commercial terms are set out in the meeting, under a non-disclosure agreement.
A named person answers for every step of a Transaction. Technology supports the analysis, and accountability stays with people.
Every claim traces to a document, a score or a date. Where a fact is not yet proven, we mark it “to be confirmed”.
Next step
Exchange Trust presents the firm and the programme in person or by video call. Commercial terms are set out in that meeting, under a non-disclosure agreement. Bring a short description of the asset, the amount you need and when you need it.
